He and wife, Nicole (Vollman), ’09, graphic design, reside in Montoursville.

Gerald Alkire, 1960
electronics technology
Gerald retired from Westinghouse Electric Co. as a senior engineer. He held many engineering positions at Westinghouse, including design engineer for large turbine generator components. He developed five patents for the company. After retiring from Westinghouse, he was a consulting engineer for Siemens Corp. for 20 years and finally stopped working in 2018. He earned a bachelor’s in engineering from University of Pittsburgh in 1974. He has been married for 58 years and resides in Winter Garden, Fla.

Andrew is a teacher at Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center, where he teaches manual and CNC machining skills, precision measurement, heat treating, CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing. He holds a master's degree in education and bachelor's degree in business administration, and authored NIMS Level 1 Study Guide, published by Cengage in 2017. He resides in Reading.

Sabrina is a children's pastor for Keymar Evangelical Wesleyan Church. She and husband, Shaun Slimmer, '02, computer-aided product and systems design, reside in Keymar, Md. Shaun is a technical sales manager for Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, where he began working just out of college and was promoted three times in his first year to engineer. After working for companies in Kansas and Florida, he returned to the company. Sabrina and Shaun were married in Williamsport during Spring Break 2002.

Andrea is a certified surgical technology/ophthalmic technician for Progressive Vision Institute, where she assists with retina, cataract and oculoplastic surgeries. She has served as a guest speaker for the college’s surgical technology program. She resides in Summit Hill and is engaged to marry Mitchell Aponick, ’18, residential construction technology and management, later this year.

Jeff works in IT policy and planning for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, directing the 47 agencies under the governor’s jurisdiction in deployment of technology and ensuring that critical government services continue during emergencies. Randy McCauley, 1987
diesel mechanics
Randy is the county equipment manager for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, making sure mechanics and equipment are ready for winter and summer road work. He enlisted in the Army as a wheeled-vehicle mechanic for four years, then joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, retiring with 23 years of service. He has worked for PennDOT for 25 years and been married for 27 years. He has three sons and resides in Muncy.
