The Plastics Innovation & Resource Center (PIRC) at Penn College is an internationally recognized provider of plastics training and industry partnership programs. PIRC offerings include process-specific apprenticeship programs and GSPC, a process standardization and training platform. Drawing upon the expertise of renowned instructors and advisors, Penn College delivers solutions to meet the skills gap and consulting needs of companies in all major plastics manufacturing processes.

The Plastics Innovation & Resource Center (PIRC) provides technology resources to facilitate the growth and success of the plastics industry in the United States and throughout the world. The Center, dedicated to excellence, serves the education, training, and research & development needs of plastic processors, resin suppliers, mold builders, and equipment manufacturers, offering access to extensive material testing laboratories, industrial scale process equipment, world-class training facilities, and a highly skilled training and consulting staff.
Plastics Mobile Lab
The Plastics Mobile Lab provides a user-friendly hands-on STEM educational opportunity for students. Schools and other educational organizations within a one-hour radius of Pennsylvania College of Technology can borrow the Plastics Mobile Lab for:
- Demonstrations and/or projects in classrooms
- STEM and other educational events
