Programs

Fully developed programs are available for:

CNC Precision Machinists

Mechatronics Technicians

Plastics Process Technicians – Injection Molding or Extrusion

The Plastics Process Technician program (Extrusion or Injection Molding) is a two-year registered apprenticeship designed to transform machine operators into skilled technicians.

Robotics & Automation Equipment Technicians

The integration of robotic automation equipment into advanced manufacturing processes has resulted in high demand for qualified technicians for maintenance and support.

Proven apprenticeship pathways for women

With over two million manufacturing jobs projected to go unfilled by 2030 and women making up just 29% of the field’s workforce, it’s undeniable. There’s untapped potential in the world of manufacturing—especially for women. Check out this video to explore the proven apprenticeship pathways at Penn College. Discover how you can take advantage of these game-changing programs. And learn how to take the next step towards higher-level positions in the fast-paced, technologically advanced manufacturing sector.

Consider a Consortium

Many companies exploring the possibility of apprenticeship programs incorrectly assume they require large numbers of employees in a given occupational category in order to proceed. The reality is that many companies beginning apprenticeships start with fewer than a dozen apprentices. They are members of the growing number of consortia that leverage the power of combined grouping to make apprenticeship formation easier and more affordable. Penn College has considerable expertise in consortium training with curriculum and delivery models specifically designed for group delivery.

  • Train multiple locations simultaneously
  • Save money through shared cost
  • Reduce travel expenses with remote delivery
  • Minimize administrative burdens
