Automotive Restoration Workshops

Introduction to Metal Forming and Sheet Metal Working

Cut, form, and shape metal to produce a fender similar to metal working in the automotive restoration industry. This hands-on workshop is led by Penn College faculty. Plus, participants will get to keep the small metal fender they create!

Ford Model T Experience

The Ford Model T is regarded as the first affordable automobile and the car that made travel possible for the middle class. Participants will learn the history and care of this type of vehicle. They’ll even go for a spin in the College-owned Model T.

Pin Striping and Paint Simulator

Do you have a steady hand? Participants will learn the fine art of pin striping and paint designs, just like in the automotive industry. Put your skills to the test on the College’s paint simulator, which evaluates the user’s ability to use a paint spray gun.
