How and when are Pennsylvania College of Technology refunds delivered to students?

Penn College stipends (refunds) are delivered electronically by Touchnet eRefunds.  Simply log into the Student Portal, click on My Finances then Student Accounts Center.  In the gray banner, select Refunds, complete multi-factor authentication (if not setup), and click Set up a new account.

If you have a credit on your account and are expecting a stipend (refund) to help pay your off-campus rent or other educational expenses, we cannot process your stipend (refund) until ALL of your Expected Financial Aid funds actually arrive at Penn College. Government grant funds typically arrive during the fourth week of the semester, and other outside resources arrive at various times throughout the semester. Feel free to call us at 570.327.4762 or email us with any questions.

What kinds of money might I receive from Penn College?

The most common type of money Penn College refunds to students are funds left over from financial aid awards, loans, or grants after tuition has been paid. Students receiving these funds have usually requested this additional support to help with books and living expenses. Other types of money may include reimbursement for tuition deposits, dropped classes, and on-campus housing damage deposits.

How is my money delivered?

Delivery of stipend (refund) money is a multi-step process. First, Penn College draws funds from the respective loan and/or grant provider and applies it to your student account. Once this information is verified, any excess funds are sent to Touchnet eRefunds within 10 business days. Once the specific refund information is received at Touchnet, it is processed and disbursed according to your selection.

Can I select a paper check?

No, all stipends (refunds) will be disbursed electronically.

Will I be charged a fee for using the First National Bank ATM in the Bush Campus Center?

The FNB ATM will not charge you a fee. However, your bank may charge you a "Foreign ATM Transaction" fee. Please check with your bank for more information.

How will my parents receive their Parent PLUS refunds?

Any stipend (refund) resulting from Parent Plus loans will be mailed by Penn College directly to your parent in the form of a paper check. Parents do not have Penn College accounts and their stipends (refunds) cannot be processed through Touchnet eRefunds.

What if I have additional questions?
