Finding a community you can call your own is an essential part of your Penn College experience. That's why we offer several options for students who wish to room with like-minded Wildcats. 

LGBTQ+ Community

Created in collaboration with PC Alliance and the Student Government Association, the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and other gender identities/sexual orientations) community provides an inclusive and supportive space for LGBTQ+ students and allies to connect, live, and learn together.

Gender-Inclusive Housing

Regardless of where you reside on campus, you can elect gender-inclusive housing—allowing you to share a room, apartment, or suite with students of the same sex, gender identity, or expression. This option is not intended for romantic partners. Most participants choose to live with friends.

Veteran Housing

This space is available to U.S. armed forces veterans or students on active drill status. Located at The Village at Penn College, the four-person, two-bedroom apartments feature a living/dining room, kitchenette, bathroom, and private outside entrances.

Wellness Community

The Wellness Community is designed for students who are focused on healthy living and committed to a substance-free lifestyle. An ideal choice for those in recovery or avoiding alcohol and drugs for personal reasons, this space offers a supportive environment with like-minded peers.
