Fleming, of Allensville, an automotive technology student who just completed its first session this semester.

An antique truck water feature on Pennsylvania College of Technology’s main campus was recognized recently with an Honor Award by the Professional Grounds Management Society. The feature, which was designed and constructed outside College Avenue Labs by the college’s General Services staff in 2018, received the award in the Small Site category of the society’s 2023 Green Star Awards national competition.

The events provided a well-organized presentation of community resources, including the West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission, Lycoming County Crisis Intervention Services, state Sen. Gene Yaw's office, the Student Government Association, the Williamsport bureaus of fire and police, and the city's Special Response Team.

For 25 years, a vintage Mack road tractor – appropriately nicknamed “Accelerated Learning" – has served as a rolling lab that continually reflects the latest industry technology available to diesel students at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center. And while there have been periods of highs and lows in enthusiasm during that quarter-century of transforming the vehicle into a drag truck, the current level of excitement and activity is off the charts.
Overcoming race-day adversity in championship fashion, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross-country team claimed its first conference title since 2012 on Saturday, while the college’s women’s soccer team posted a playoff shutout and advances to Tuesday’s 6 p.m. Volt Division semifinal at Penn State Harrisburg.
