Each holds two degrees from the college – Legarski in physical fitness specialist and nursing, Kerstetter in exercise science and applied health studies – and both found their way to nursing after exploring other possible career paths.
An antique truck water feature on Pennsylvania College of Technology’s main campus was recognized recently with an Honor Award by the Professional Grounds Management Society. The feature, which was designed and constructed outside College Avenue Labs by the college’s General Services staff in 2018, received the award in the Small Site category of the society’s 2023 Green Star Awards national competition.

In two segments taped in the NBC affiliate's Wilkes-Barre studio, the group talked about Mason's acceptance into the program – which pairs special-needs children with collegiate sports teams – and the Wildcats' recent observance of Blindness Awareness Month.
Halloween arrived early at Penn College, where assorted members of the Wildcat "Boo!" crew satisfied sweet-tooth dreams and opened the door to their darker counterparts. A Thursday open house, overlapping with continuation of People & Culture's Engagement Series, combined to better acquaint students and employees with Penn College Police. The events provided a well-organized presentation of community resources, including the West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission, Lycoming County Crisis Intervention Services, state Sen. Gene Yaw's office, the Student Government Association, the Williamsport bureaus of fire and police, and the city's Special Response Team.

For 25 years, a vintage Mack road tractor – appropriately nicknamed “Accelerated Learning" – has served as a rolling lab that continually reflects the latest industry technology available to diesel students at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center. And while there have been periods of highs and lows in enthusiasm during that quarter-century of transforming the vehicle into a drag truck, the current level of excitement and activity is off the charts.
Overcoming race-day adversity in championship fashion, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross-country team claimed its first conference title since 2012 on Saturday, while the college’s women’s soccer team posted a playoff shutout and advances to Tuesday’s 6 p.m. Volt Division semifinal at Penn State Harrisburg.
In collaboration with North Central Sight Services and in solidarity with their new teammate, Mason Chapman, the Penn College men's basketball team observed Blindness Awareness Month on Friday evening. At the close of their practice, players put on blindfolds for a dribbling drill to experience what it would be like to play without sight.
