Two recently retired faculty members at Pennsylvania College of Technology have been granted “faculty emeritus” status by the institution. The emeritus recommendations for Sandra Lakey, associate professor of speech communication-composition, and Thomas J. Mulfinger, associate professor of building construction technology, both were approved by the Penn College Board of Directors on Oct. 3.
The Medical Imaging Club has been reactivated this semester and is off to a good start after its first meeting attracted 53 radiography and pre-radiography students. The preschool classes of the Dunham Children’s Learning Center attended a performance of "Pete the Cat" at the Community Arts Center on Wednesday. The 45-minute play, full of music and dancing, was adapted from bestselling works by author/illustrator James Dean. "The books are a favorite of the CLC children and some of them 'read' them from memory," said Barbara J. Albert, the center's director.
