A collective effort incorporating the talents of Pennsylvania College of Technology students, staff and faculty, as well as expertise and services from regional companies, is preparing the school to host Baja SAE Williamsport, May 16-19. The renowned international competition will feature 108 collegiate teams and approximately 1,000 participants, representing 34 states, Brazil and Canada.

Sen. Michael Stefan has begun his service on the Pennsylvania College of Technology Board of Directors. Stefan, vice president for government and community relations at Penn State, succeeds Zack Moore, who had served on the board since June 2021. Stefan was appointed to the Penn College Board by the Corporation for Penn State.

The state Department of Education has awarded Pennsylvania College of Technology $39,470 for the project “It’s On Us – A Call to Wildcats,” a comprehensive initiative to offer training and awareness on the prevention of sexual misconduct. The college’s effort is part of the “It’s On Us PA” statewide campaign that invites everyone to play a role in ending sexual assault.
