Pennsylvania College of Technology has begun the final phase of its project to replace Social Security numbers as the primary identifier. Beginning Jan. 1, the College will use PCT ID numbers to identify students, faculty and staff. Nearly 8,000 new ID cards, displaying the new PCT ID, will be issued to current students and employees.
Students who are enrolled in a bachelor-degree program and are eligible for a SciTech Scholarship must complete a College-approved internship before graduating. The internship must be related to the student's major for which the scholarship has been awarded. The scholarship will revert to a loan if the student fails to complete the internship.

The Pennsylvania College of Technology bowling team is coming off a season during which it captured three state championships, and, with several keglers returning, coach Lisa Worth is hopeful of continued success. The Wildcats open their season at the Central Penn Tournament on Wednesday.
