Aviation maintenance instructor D. Michael Damiani, a full-time member of the Penn College faculty since 2014, is mentioned in "Field of Dreams," an online feature about the Golden Age Air Museum in Berks County. Damiani serves part time as the Bethel museum's volunteer director of maintenance and as a staff pilot, maintaining and operating an impressive fleet of vintage aircraft.

Samantha J. Morningstar, of Lewistown, trims a study model, which is an exact replica of the athlete’s mouth. The study model is then used as a form to make the custom mouthguard. When it named a new softball coach last week, Pennsylvania College of Technology stayed close to home with a hire who grew up a 20-minute drive from the campus. Meanwhile, the men’s and women’s basketball teams and the wrestling squad all saw post-Thanksgiving break action.
