Students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's culinary arts and hospitality management majors will learn about planning a menu and helping to run a kitchen while they offer cuisine from around the United States this spring.

CendomaCollege Informationand Community Relations intern Pennsylvania College of Technology's radio station, WPTC-FM, is home to "The Way," a weekly radio show that focuses on religion and spirituality and features interviews with individuals from both the college and the community. The show, which debuted in September, airs at 7 a.m. on Saturdays.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's bowling team hopes to put an exclamation mark on what already has been a successful season when it competes this weekend in the Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Conference championships in Philipsburg. As part of the efforts to promote recycling and Penn College's participation in the national Recyclemania competition, residents of each of the on-campus apartment complexes painted a recycling promotional billboard to be displayed over the coming weeks. The purpose of the billboards is to remind residents to recycle.

A second-year landscape/nursery technology student at Pennsylvania College of Technology was one of seven students to receive scholarships at the 2008 Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Conference held Feb. 13 in State College. Melissa D. Berrier, of Mifflin scheduled to graduate in May was awarded a PLNA Foundation Scholarship from the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association.
