More than 170 employers were on hand at Penn College's Career Expo on Tuesday, offering students a close-up opportunity to say "Hello" to their potential tomorrows. "Another triumphant Career Expo!" said Erin Shultz, the college's coordinator of career development. "We had 173 employers registered, breaking last fall's record of 165.

Pennsylvania College of Technology and Penn State Cooperative Extension are collaborating to form the Marcellus Shale Education & Training Center, which will provide a wide variety of resources to the community and the oil-and-gas industry.

Jane J. Benedict, associate professor of nursing at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was recently reappointed to a second term on the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission's evaluation review panel. Statistics compiled by the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team during the regular season are impressive. It went undefeated (11-0 overall and 9-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference) and it outscored its opposition 40-4, including nine shutouts. But Enrique Castillo, in his third season as head coach, hopes that is just the beginning.

Invitations have been extended, and four Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams are headed to United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championships, according to Douglas Byerly, the college's director of athletics. Mack Trucks Inc. recently donated $36,000 worth of transmissions two Allison transmissions and a Mack unit to Penn College's Schneebeli Earth Science Center for student instruction. Mark E. Sones, instructor of diesel equipment technology, was able to secure the generous donations from Mack Trucks' Macungie facility when he heard they were available.

Graduating members of the Lady Wildcat soccer team were honored in "Senior Day" festivities during Saturday's match against Alfred (N.Y.) University.
