Students and faculty are enjoying their Fall Break, a four-day weekend before jumping into the second half of the semester, and it seems an ideal time to pause and enjoy the autumn glory that abounds on Pennsylvania College of Technology's campus. Although the unofficial start to summer season arrives with Memorial Day weekend, it's technically not summer (astronomically speaking) until June 20, so spring still rules the day. Enjoy these campus captures.

Blue skies and a gentle breeze greeted Old Glory Thursday morning on its return "flight" atop the 120-foot pole in front of the Davie Jane Gilmour Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Due to a broken cable, the large American flag had not been flying since late Saturday. Thank you to Allison Crane & Rigging for its support, supplying the crane needed for repairs!

The large American flag in front of the Davie Jane Gilmour Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology's main entrance will be down temporarily until repairs can be made to a broken cable, which will require a crane.

General Services’ HVAC and electrical crews recently installed a chiller from Sunbelt Rentals along the south-facing loop of the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center. The chiller will remain in place through Oct. 28. It’s a temporary fix for the building’s chilled water system – responsible for air conditioning – that failed last fall.
