Pennsylvania College of Technology students have received two of the six $5,000 national scholarships awarded this year by the Oil and Energy Service Professionals and its co-sponsors. Penn College winners are Thomas E. Daros Jr., of North Salem, New York – now a three-time recipient – and Garth J. Reish, of Millheim.

A Pennsylvania College of Technology plastics student has added to his impressive list of national scholarships. The Society of Plastics Engineers recently announced that Logan A. Tate, of Williamsport, is the recipient of several scholarships for 2017. The plastics and polymer engineering technology major has been honored with the Blow Molding Division W.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s surgical technology major is joining hospitals and colleges throughout the country in celebrating National Surgical Technologists Week, Sept. 17-23.
