Abdul B. Pathan, professor of economics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently presented a paper at the 18th annual conference on "Teaching Economics, Instruction and Classroom Based Research." Pathan presented his paper, "Make Economics Interesting to Students by Using Real-Life Examples," to about 75 participants, all faculty members from colleges and universities around the country.

A faculty member in Pennsylvania College of Technology's drafting and computer aided design department recently passed an eight-hour examination to become a Certified SolidWorks Professional. Jeffrey D. Mather became one of 23 professionals in Pennsylvania to earn Certified SolidWorks Professional status when he took the test during the SolidWorks World 2007 User Conference and Exposition Feb.
