Graphic design students at Pennsylvania College of Technology have taken inspiration from a Little Golden Books exhibition on campus in creating their own, modern versions of the classic children’s book illustrations. Robert Schell Ulrich, who retired in May 1996 from the English faculty at Penn College, died Jan. 31 at the age of 91. In addition to his teaching career at both the high school and postsecondary levels, he earned an associate degree in computer science from Williamsport Area Community College, a predecessor institution.
