The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation of Harrisburg has made a $340,000 gift to Pennsylvania College of Technology, boosting the foundation’s total scholarship support to students to more than $3.6 million.

Regional Boy Scouts can enhance their technical acumen, thanks to faculty mentors and state-of-the-art instructional facilities at Pennsylvania College of Technology. In conjunction with the Susquehanna Council, Boy Scouts of America, the school is hosting Merit Badge College on Saturday, Feb. 19. Scouts can select from 19 merit badges and earn up to three during the event.
Following a national search, Pennsylvania College of Technology has chosen Michael J. Reed to lead the institution as its eighth president, effective July 1. The Penn College Board of Directors on Wednesday approved the choice of Reed, the college’s vice president for academic affairs and provost, after an extensive search process led by Storbeck Search, of Media.
