The Community Arts Center, owned and operated by Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be known as Journey Bank Community Arts Center for at least a decade, beginning July 1, 2025. The Penn College Board of Directors approved the naming action during its June 27 meeting, authorizing senior administration to negotiate a contract that will include a 10-year, temporary renaming of the renowned regional performing arts venue.
The Community Arts Center is pleased to announce it is the recipient of $20,000 from C&N, a leading community-oriented financial services institution, through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit program. The contribution will be used to support the arts center's Educational Series programming.
The video “A 30-Year Anniversary Nearly 100 Years in the Making: The Community Arts Center” won a bronze Telly Award in the 45th annual competition. The Pennsylvania College of Technology entry earned its Telly in the Non-Broadcast – Arts & Culture category. Penn College owns and operates the Community Arts Center, a cultural cornerstone for the region, located on West Fourth Street in downtown Williamsport.
