Scores of Penn College automotive and collision repair students – and the faculty preparing them for careers in those fields – attended a recent open house at Blaise Alexander Chevrolet of Muncy and the Blaise Alexander Collision Center in Montoursville.

The new digital billboard is installed last month along Interstate 180 near Penn College. In partnership with Pennsylvania College of Technology, Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships has made a significant donation to erect color digital signage along Interstate 180 near the college.

The Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships, with 18 locations that employ a number of Penn College alumni, was honored Wednesday for its inspiring generosity and ongoing dedication to Wildcat Athletics.

A 1926 Ford Model T, traded to Alexander Nissan in 2013 by its Picture Rocks owner, has been passed on to Pennsylvania College of Technology students for use in a variety of automotive labs. Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships donated the historic vehicle that was recently offloaded onto main campus, accompanied by brothers Adam and Aubrey Alexander.

Full-time students at Pennsylvania College of Technology who are residents of 10 central and northcentral Pennsylvania counties are eligible to apply for awards from a new scholarship fund at the college. Blaise J. Alexander, well-known for his family's automobile dealerships around the region, recently established the Blaise Alexander Family Scholarship Fund at Penn College.
