Each semester, Penn College faculty and staff give back to the community through acts of service.
“In honor of Earth Day, faculty and staff volunteered their time to clean up litter and debris along the Lycoming Creek and Old Lycoming Bike Path (part of the Lycoming Creek Bikeway),” explained Mattie L. Pulizzi, manager of employee engagement and wellbeing. “In total, the group filled 11 garbage bags in under two hours!”
Pulizzi notes the professional development effort was supported through Susquehanna Greenway Partnership, a local leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the Susquehanna Greenway within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
