Penn College at Wellsboro’s one-year practical nursing program is profiled in this inspiring, four-minute video that introduces viewers to students, graduates, faculty, facilities and the program director.
“This gave me an opportunity to better myself and get a better job,” shared recent graduate Megan Lewis, of Morris. “I’m really thankful for that, honestly.”
Participants share what they love most about the program (faculty get rave reviews!) and the excitement they feel for their futures.
“You don’t realize how fast a year goes by until you’re done with it,” Lewis added, “and you look back at all the stuff you did, a lot of things you thought you couldn’t do at certain times, and you just feel very proud and thankful and excited about what’s yet to come.”
The video explores the hands-on curriculum designed to prepare students for the NCLEX-PN licensing exam and shares information on career and educational pathways.
“You’re not hunting for jobs – they’re hunting for you,” said program alumnus Jordon Moore-Rice, of Galeton.
