A few of the fun festivities “dropping” in December to close out the Fall 2024 academic year were the annual Snowball and the first-ever Duck Drop. Both events were hosted by Penn College's Office of Student Engagement.

Held in the Thompson Professional Development Center’s Mountain Laurel Room, the Snowball featured music and dancing, signature drinks and delicious food. The evening offered an ideal escape before the pressure of finals.

“The Great Duck Drop,” held the first day of finals in the Bush Campus Center lobby, saw blue plastic ducks dropped from the second floor and a mad scramble to grab one. The rubber duckies featured numbers corresponding to prizes, like gift cards, Legos and stuffed animals.
