Penn College’s Engineering & Industrial Design Technology Department held its annual SolidWorks Pumpkin Carving Contest last week. The fall tradition tests students on their “carving” abilities, as they craft virtual jack-o'-lanterns with computer software.
Three winners were selected in each of two sections of Technical Drawing I and Detailing I:

First place: Leah R. Bear, of Carlisle, engineering CAD techology
Second place: George H. Sloan, of Glenside, welding & fabrication engineering technology
Third place: Marcella A. Troutman, of Aristes, engineering CAD techology
CCD 103 and CCD 104 (Section 02), taught by Shane A. Schreck, instructor:
First place: Adam M. Oakes, of Northumberland, welding & fabrication engineering technology
Second place: Marissa L. Holland, Montoursville, engineering design technology
