Wildcat joins mascot friends for Boomer's birthday

Local mascot celebrities, including Penn College’s Wildcat, gathered recently to celebrate Boomer’s birthday at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. Boomer is the mascot for Crosscutters Baseball, a member of the MLB Draft League.

The celebration, coinciding with a game against the West Virginia Black Bears, featured free birthday cake and many photo ops with adoring fans. Always willing to “step up to the plate” as a community ambassador, the Wildcat was eager to lend a paw.
