WVIA News is conducting a “Listening Tour” by visiting various communities and asking residents for input on what stories to cover. Community members are invited to visit the WVIA radio studio in the lobby of the Community Arts Center from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. As space is limited, reservations are encouraged on the WVIA site.
The gathering is not a formal presentation but an opportunity to meet WVIA's Williamsport/Lycoming County reporter, Chase Bottorf; suggest story ideas; take a brief news survey; and enter to win prizes.
The event was originally scheduled for Friday, Aug. 2, but was postponed due to afternoon storms forecast for the region.
The Community Arts Center is owned by Pennsylvania College of Technology.
