Francesca Troutman, who retired as assistant dean for business and computer technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology, died July 26 at the age of 75. Friends and family are invited to call from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Freeberg Funeral Home, 120 N. Williamson Rd., Blossburg.
Troutman began working at Penn College in 1991, serving in various roles, including interim division director of health science, coordinator of practical nursing, and interim associate dean and interim assistant dean of North Campus. In 1993, she became division director of business and computer technologies and was named assistant dean in 1996. In the 1994-95 academic year, she received a faculty rank promotion to associate professor. She retired in May 2011.
