A celebration of life will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 27, for Richard L. Druckenmiller, a retired building construction technology faculty member, who died July 18 at the age of 72. The gathering, with remarks at 2 p.m., will take place at the Peter Herdic House Restaurant, 407 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
Druckenmiller joined the Pennsylvania College of Technology faculty in 1990 and retired at the end of 2015. He served as department head for building construction technology for six academic years. In addition to receiving the 2003 Veronica M. Muzic Master Teacher Award, the college’s highest faculty honor, he received an Excellence in Teaching Award in 1996.
