Penn College freshman softball player Grace Lorson has been named a finalist for the Tucci/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III National Freshman of Year.

The regional finalists and the winner are chosen by the NFCA All-America Committee, which includes one representative for each of the 10 regions. To be eligible, student-athletes must come from an NFCA member institution.
The winner of the 2024 Tucci/NFCA Division III Freshman of the Year award will be announced on May 28.
