The Penn College Business Club – with support from the Event Management & Coordination class – hosted Coffee & Conversation, an event that joined students, primarily in business and hospitality majors, with employers offering potential summer internships or long-term employment.
The students recruited 40 employers, who took part in a campus tour and provided a Q&A session for business students before heading to the Field House, where they set up information tables to meet tomorrow makers. They then stayed for a mixer, where students practiced networking in a more social environment. Following the event, students attended an etiquette dinner, sponsored by Horizon Federal Credit Union.
Ten students helped to organize the event:
Kylee P. Albert, of Boyertown; David Brown, of Bridgeport, Connecticut; Logan M. Confer, of Watsontown; Clayton L. Gothel, of Millerstown; Kayleigh A. Miller, of Sayre; Becky D. Morrison, of Myerstown; Chloe R. Orr, of Williamsport; Evan Pickering, of Selinsgrove; Jajuan J. Ramirez, of Kennett Square; and Alicia M. Wyland, of Williamsport.
In addition, student-athletes from the men’s basketball and wrestling teams – along with the Wildcat – helped the visitors to move their supplies into the Field House.
