The West Branch Model A Restorers Club visited The Madigan Library recently to donate 14 books to support learning at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
"We are very happy that the West Branch Model A club has donated a collection that will support the restoration work of our students, faculty and the community at large,” said Tracey Amey, library director. “The club's generous contribution and willingness to share their resources strengthen not only the library's automotive collection, but also brings a new appreciation for the community's support of the college. And of course, we love seeing their beautifully restored cars on campus."
The local Model A Restorers Club has a consistent presence on Penn College’s campus, meeting regularly in the Bush Campus Center and showcasing vehicles during summer automotive restoration camps.
The club has over 20 members (and an additional 20 significant others engaged in activities), and the members own more than 100 Ford Model A vehicles.
