Penn College Theatrics welcomed the community to its first performance, the classic play "Arsenic and Old Lace," on Saturday and Sunday in the Klump Acadmic Center Auditorium.
"This show was a monumental effort from everyone involved, and we are grateful for all of the support we have received, especially from our peers," said Mary B. Herndon, the play's director and a founding member of the student club. "We hope that this show has inspired students to get out of their comfort zone and try something new."
"The students did all the work themselves," added Thomas E. Ask, Penn College Theatrics adviser and professor of industrial design. "They worked independently to manage the auditions and rehearsals as well as design and create the costumes, props and stage sets."
