About 75 students and 15 employers attended a highly-successful Human Services & Restorative Justice Internship and Job Expo, held this past week at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Among HSJ students' rave reviews:

"This expo was overwhelming in the best way! There were so many tables and smiles that I didn't know where to start first. I've been to HSJ Expos in the past, but with this one, I was intentional and on the search for an internship and potential career following graduation." – Rayann Singleton Bodle

"I think we had a really great turnout at the HSJ Job Expo. A lot of students, including myself, were on the hunt for our last internship and this gave us an opportunity to talk with businesses." – Jenirosa A. White

"I would say it was insightful to learn about local agencies for future employment after graduating and for potential internships. It also prepared me for networking and meeting new connections. I did find it very helpful and liked the agencies that came." – Olivia A. Fessler

The expo also drew attendance from students in majors besides HSJ.

Employers on hand were: Community Services Group; Concern Professional Services for Children, Youth and Families; Department of Corrections; Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers; Federal Correctional Complex, Allenwood; Genesis House; Living Unlimited; Lycoming County Coroner; Penn College's Office of Student Engagement; Pennsylvania Bureau of Juvenile Justice; Pennsylvania Department of Corrections; Roads to Freedom Center for Independent Living; STEP Inc.; U.S. Army; and U.S. Penitentiary, Lewisburg.
