Writer/video producer Tom Speicher visited the Dunham Children's Learning Center on Thursday, reading his latest children's book – "A Day With Waffles and Alexis" – to a receptive flock of Birds (4- and 5-year-olds).
Available in a number of locations (including Williamsport's Otto Bookstore and through online retailers) the book marks the second print appearance of Speicher's endearing guinea pig. She debuted last year in "A Week With Waffles," proceeds of which benefit the college's Emergency Scholarship Fund.
