Week in, week out, throughout each semester, the Office of Student Engagement aims to provide its campus audience with delightful diversion from lab time and homework. Look no further than this past weekend, which ran the gamut from miniature golf to the biggest turkey leg you've ever gnawed upon.
The Renaissance Feast returned to Capitol Eatery on Thursday, filling tummies and fulfilling appetites for amusement. Supplementing a throwback menu that included shepherd's pie and berry croustade was a performance by Tiny Big Girl Show, a one-person extravaganza of "smarts, skill and sparkle." Members of the Society for Creative Anachronism, who research and recreate pre-17th century life, also joined the fun – if you call combat "fun!"
The following night saw a CC Takeover, which brought nine-hole mini-golf and Stuff-a-Plush takeaways to the Bush Campus Center (along with free games, food and music, of course).
