The event will be hosted by the Roads to Freedom Center for Independent Living, which is co-sponsoring with the college and the League of Women Voters of Lycoming County. Light refreshments and a "meet and greet" will be held from 5-6 p.m. in the lobby of the agency's 24 E. Third St. location, following by the forum from 6-8 p.m. in the banquet room.
"The purpose of this forum is to allow the disability community to have a platform to address unmet needs in the county," organizers said, "as well as how the judicial system understands the disability population and assures their rights as a person with a disability are not violated in the legal system."
