Bogaczyk, Stephanie A. Golder and Sarah F. Marino; Jan E. Twardowski, admissions assistant; Audriana L. Empet, director of admissions; and Jen M. Cullin-Hetrick, associate director.

Beginning its second illuminating year of introducing the Penn College community to itself, the Office of People & Culture welcomed 34 campus co-workers – its largest turnout yet – who interactively learned more about Admissions on Thursday afternoon.

After a brief staff presentation, participants were cycled through a series of hands-on stations on the first floor of the Davie Jane Gilmour Center that included writing letters to prospective students, having a video or photo taken, being challenged to set up a College Fair table for mock recruitment, completing the application process, and playing "Guess Whose Territory" with admission counselors.

"We are grateful to have had the opportunity to host, and kick off this year’s Engagement Series!" said Audriana L. Empet, director of admissions. "Our team enjoyed interacting with our colleagues from across campus – familiar faces and some new ones, too. We hope attendees learned some new information about what the Admissions Office does and left inspired to collaborate with us in support of recruitment."

Admissions also arranged a display table of products, instruments and tools from various academic areas that admissions representatives take on the road with them during recruitment travel. (More items are always appreciated so as many programs as possible can be represented.)

There was also a basket raffle, featuring prizes inspired by the areas from which students are recruited, as well as refreshments.
