Dunham Children's Learning Center families and staff observed International Mud Day on June 29, having fun in the facility's courtyard while increasing awareness of cleanliness and access to sanitation in different parts of the world.

Children and early childhood professionals everywhere celebrate by getting really muddy and reconnecting with nature through the pleasurable squish and splatter. The CLC was no exception, providing muddy water, a muddy ball pit, muddy wagons, muddy artwork, a kitchen for mud pies and such – they even painted a muddy rock!

"We had an amazing time with each other as a staff and as a community of children and families," said Linda A. Reichert, CLC director. "It was a muddy mess for sure, but one that will be remembered each year. We are ... Muddy Wildcats!"
