“This year, we had the honor of helping Paul plant over 200 seedlings on his property,” said Victoria Hurwitz, director of physical therapist assistant. The efforts are part of the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership, which aims to improve Pennsylvania’s communities, economy and ecology by planting 10 million trees throughout the commonwealth. The eight-year goal was set in 2018; thus far, nearly 5.4 million trees have been planted.
The Penn College physical therapist assistant program has been helping Huffman to plant trees since 2020.
