Gregory S. Lloyd, now retired and living in Oregon, earned his associate degree in 1982 from Williamsport Area Community College, and revisited the ESC on April 20 with classmate Kathy Foreman, a 1985 landscape/nursery technology alumna employed by Ettingers Landscaping. Lloyd and Foreman were joined by forestry instructor Eric C. Easton and Kimberly R. Cassel, college relations director, for a tour of a campus much-changed from the longtime friends' college days.
After graduating from WACC, Lloyd continued his education at the University of Maine and earned a master's in parks and recreation/environmental education from Penn State in 1993. His national award was prompted by complex investigations into drug trafficking organizations, thefts from protected Native American archaeological sites, and his positive relationship-building with law enforcement agencies and local communities in Oregon and Washington.
