Snippets of the Penn College episode of "The College Tour" are included in a thank-you video to the presidents of participating institutions from the host and executive producer of the Amazon Prime series.
"In a world that is sometimes trying to pull down higher education, we here at 'The College Tour' are standing up," Alex Boylan says in the three-minute video. "Standing up and promoting what you all do, and the power it has on our youth and our society as a whole."
One of those youths – Boylan's niece, Isabel – was the impetus for the show, which aims to provide prospective students with a convenient and inexpensive way to explore the many campuses on their wish lists.
Boylan and his crew visited Penn College during the Spring 2022 semester, ultimately profiling 10 students in a half-hour installment that premiered on campus in August. The latest video (at 1:24 and 2:59) includes clips of one of those students: Wesley S. McCray, who graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in engineering design technology.
