Fourteen employers attended the Penn College Business Club’s recent Coffee & Conversation event in Penn’s Inn, designed to connect students in business and hospitality majors with a variety of companies in those sectors.
Before networking over coffee and snacks, the visiting professionals lent valuable insight during a Q&A session, as students asked a variety of questions – from what qualities employers seek in employees to how to overcome interview jitters.
This is the third time the growing event, first conceived and executed by students in an Event Management and Coordination class, has been held. Since the class did not run this semester, the Penn College Business Club stepped in to continue the event’s positive momentum.
Companies attending were:
- Dan Albert, State Farm agent
- Bayard Printing Group
- C&N bank
- Ciocca Dealerships
- Compass Group
- The Hartman Group
- Hershey Entertainment
- Horizon Federal Credit Union
- Jersey Shore State Bank
- Knoebels – represented by Penn College grad Brian Knoebel, ’93, food & hospitality management

- Naval Supply Systems Command – represented by grad Scott Elicker, ’11, business administration: marketing concentration
