One exhibit, featuring work by students in Digital Photography (PHO150), is on the first floor of the arts center and is viewable through the glass windows or from inside when the facility is open. The other display is on the second-floor mezzanine and highlights the creative talents of Commercial Photography (PHO230) students.

“This semester, I had a bold and adventurous group of students who really challenged themselves to produce some great work,” said Joanna K. Yoder, photography instructor. “As students are preparing for careers in graphic design, they are getting a hands-on experience of working in a lighting studio. I was impressed watching the students collaborate, experiment with concepts in the studio, and tackle tricky lighting scenarios together as a team. Their hard work and creativity are evident in the professional quality of their photographs.”

The displays can be enjoyed for a few more weeks.

The Community Arts Center is owned and operated by Pennsylvania College of Technology, a national leader in applied technology education.
