Penn College Campus Recreation held its second "Get Rec’d" event of the spring semester on Sunday.
More than 100 students came to the Field House for a Super Bowl Tailgate that featured food, games and a chance for a share of $150 in cash prizes.
Matthew K. Leedy, a building automation engineering technology student from Lebanon, was the big winner when he found a $50 bill. Students enjoyed pizza, soft pretzels, chips and drinks, as well as cornhole, table tennis, water pong, card games ... and use of the new football throwing net, which was quite popular.
The next "Get Rec’d" event will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, when Campus Recreation goes old school with a Vicious Valentine’s Day Dodgeball Tournament "because nothing says 'Be mine' like a rubber kickball hurled into your face!" Anyone interested in playing can enroll a team by email or by showing up at the Field House on Wednesday.
