Design software adds another dimension to student creativity
Tuesday, November 1, 2022
Continuing a campus custom that dates to 2014, first-year students in the School of Engineering Technologies this week created virtual jack-o'-lanterns using SolidWorks computer-aided drafting and design software.
Three winners were selected in two sections of Technical Drawing I – taught in College Avenue Labs by Katherine A. Walker and Craig A. Miller, assistant professors of engineering design technology (who also provided the photos from their classes) – as well as an honorable mention with a particularly inspiring subject.
CCD103 (Section 01)
First: Mary B. Herndon, Williamsport
Second: Chris J. Brunner, Willow Grove
Third: Matthew C. Byrnes, Manahawkin, N.J.
