Pennsylvania College of Technology's award-winning Dunham Children's Learning Center joined in a week of "Celebrating Campus Children's Centers," observed Oct. 3-7 in nationwide tribute to the extraordinary services provided by college child care facilities.
CLC employees and youngsters traversed main campus to say, "Thank you" to as many departments as possible for supporting the child care center (on the first floor of the Hager Lifelong Education Center) throughout the year.
"Some classrooms wrote in chalk on the mall sidewalk, while students stopped to say, 'Hello,' and others painted piggy banks and added a penny for future luck," said Linda A. Reichert, CLC director, who also provided the photos above. The groups delivered to Financial Operations, the Office of People & Culture, Veterans & Military Services, the LEAP Center, and the President’s Office.
"It was a fun-filled week, allowing us time to get out and communicate – not only to our current families, but to the entire Penn College population," Reichert said.
