The Office of Student Engagement celebrated student organization advisers this past week (April 25-29) through posts on Student Life’s social media; inspirational snack packs and an encouraging note from team members; recognition at Thursday's Student Leadership & Involvement Awards; and an invitation to pot a plant Friday on the Bush Campus Center Patio to thank advisers for helping Penn College's student organizations grow and flourish throughout the year. OSE also had a station in the Student Organization & Leadership Center for members of student organizations to stop by and make "thank you" cards for club mentors.
As the department made sure to celebrate advisers, the vice president for student affairs took time to share his gratitude with office staff for its support. "As our academic year comes to an end, we can all look back with pride on how our student leaders and student organizations provided the infrastructure for Penn College student life to continue and thrive through incredibly difficult circumstances," Elliott Strickland wrote. "These leaders and these groups could not have succeeded without your support, wisdom and guidance."
