"PCT Drug Free: War of the Roses," an inter-hall competition between Lancaster and York (and a play on the 15th century battles between those houses for control of the English throne), was held Thursday evening in the Rose Street Commons Courtyard. Students vied for the highest scores in hatchet-throwing and the fastest times while wearing "drunk goggles" on an obstacle course, and to see who could collect the most money in a "pie-your-RA" fundraiser benefiting West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission. There was an educational table of information from West Branch, as well as the Bruster’s ice cream truck to provide Lancaster and York residents their prize for winning a survey contest earlier this semester.
