Faculty/staff ‘role models’ recognized through SGA’s campus outreach

Wednesday, March 30, 2022

Inspiration and unity are among the sentiments painted on "The Rock" for Women's History Month.Eighteen Pennsylvania College of Technology employees, singled out in comments from students and co-workers, were honored during March by the Student Government Association in observance of Women's History Month.

"We decided to send out a form all around the school where people could anonymously put in recognition of faculty and staff women of Penn College," said Krystle J. Richardson, who – among a number of campus leadership positions – is SGA's senator for diversity, equity and inclusion. "These women are role models in the Wildcat community!"

The association featured mini-bios of the honorees on Instagram during the month, which were shared on social media and compiled into this post.

Those recognized will also receive a certificate from SGA, said Richardson, who is president of the Human Services and Restorative Justice Club and vice president of the Beta Epsilon Upsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (an international honor society for associate-degree students).
